Previa is the hign-end MPV of Toyota and first imported into China in 2007. Previa has the 2.4L and 3.5L discharge models with pricing in 459, 800 ~ 522, 000 rmb.
BYD believe that the slow-growth MPV market due to the high pricing and old styling of MPVs. BYD also believe the new product could gets more market attentions, thus, BYD M6, as known as its high cost-performance will have more advantages?
What do you think?

I think that BYD is making a mistake in trying to compete in an established market like this, or the one that the convertible F8 is aiming for. It should do itself a favor and concentrate on developing a reputation for well-proven hybrid and electric vehicles. Once that’s done it can play around and branch out.
In any case, once fuel prices rise again, it doesn’t have a chance in those markets mentioned.
