Today on the Shenzhen – Hong Kong – Macao International Auto Fair, Chery Auto launched its A5 1.5L Automatic, including Standard, Elite and Luxury edition, priced between 55, 800Yuan and 67, 800 Yuan(I US Dollar  = 6.8 Yuan).

Compare to the original model, the new A5 1.5L has no much changes on appearance and shape, the design is not very fashionable, but the new model is more practical and aesthetic.

Reports from Sina, Chery Auto is ready to launch its mini car QQme (S16) this month.

The QQme is a four-seat, two-door minicar, measuring 3,747mm x 1,597mm x 1,514mm with a 2,315mm wheelbase. It will be equipped with a 1.3-liter gasoline engine, which generates peak power of 62kW. It also features many safety configurations such as the safety airbag, ABS+EBD, and reversing radar.

A couple days ago Chery Auto announced to enter the Vietnam auto market. The Chery QQ3 mini car has recently been launched in Hanoi, capital city of Vietnam, as the first Chery model to enter the Vietnamese market, signifying Chery Auto has successfully entered the 8th market of ASEAN(Association of Southeast Asian Nations).

From the photo we can see that Riich X1 has been on production for a while, the whole details of shape and design is almost fixed. The Riich X1 will uses the bran new Riich logo and 1.3L engine, the 1.5L engine will be used in further models.

At April’s Shanghai Auto Show, Chery launched two new models, one is the “Intelligent Digital mini car” Riich M1, another is the A3 automatic which Chery fans have waited for a long time.

The “digital mini” Riich M1 will priced between40,280 and 50,980RMB (1USD = 6.8RMB), the A3 automatic includes standard and special version, priced between 90, 080RMB and 100, 280RMB.

Sources reported that Chery will debut Chery Riich G5 and G6 at April’s Shanghai Auto Show.

Chery Riich G5 is powered by a Chery’s 2.0-liter turbo engine that generates 168 horsepower and 173 pound-feet of torque and can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox.

Chery Riich G6 is equipped with a 192-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 or a turbocharged 168-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and G6 is expected to compete with the Audi A6L, the most popular business sedan in China.

Chery’s new high-end brand, Chery Riich, is under hot discussion these days, following by G6′s production, Chery will launch a relatively smaller model G5 by 4th quarter this year. As far as know, Riich G5 will positioned as a sport car, very different from the business car G6.

Riich G5 measures (L/W/H) 4714/1794/1473 mm, wheelbase is 2700mm,it equips the turbocharged engine developed by Chery.

In configuration, G5 equips satellite navigation, car video, car Bluetooth phone and smart keys, its very luxurious indeed.
