Great Wall Moto to launch Hover M1/M3 by the year end

At April’s Shanghai Auto Show, Great Wall Moto debuted two new models, including Hover M1 and M3, now we get the most recent information.

The Hover M1 will be the smallest MPV of Great Wall Moto, it measures 3654 * 1625 * 1620mm(L*W*H) with wheelbase 2499mm. The new model will equips with high-end air-condition, multi-function steering wheel and CD player.

As Great Wall’s SUV model, the Hover M3 is much similar with the Great Wall CoolBear in shape, it measures 4011*17401684mm(L*H*W), the new model equips GWM’s 1.5L engine, GPRS guidance system, power sunroof and automatic air-condition. Both models will launch on October by reported.

Shanghai Auto Show Preview: Great Wall to debut 12 new models

Sources reported that Great Wall to debut 12 new  models on the coming Shanghai auto show.

Great Wall will also debut three under-developed SUVs,  including Hover M1 driven by a 1.3L engine, Hover H5 powered by a 2.4L engine and Hover M3, a five-seat compact SUV.

In addition, three Great Wall sedans including Florid, Peri and Cool bear, along with Wingle pickup and Cowry MPV, will be displayed at the event.  A newly developed electric car and a Wingle RV will also be exhibited.

Great Wall’s secret car “GWKulla” to show off on Shanghai Auto Show

Sources from the manufactror, Great Wall Moto will debut 12 new models and 3 engines on April’s Shanghai Auto Show. The inner personnel said there are 5 in the 12 new models that never publish on market before, the new energy electric car “GWKulla” must be one of the 5. The new “GWKulla” has been much defferent from the one debuted on the Beijing Auto Show  , shapes and performance are totally different, so somebody call it “GWKulla 2″.

The Great Wall enginneer disclose that GWKulla is totally a light-weight pure electric car with 4 door – 4 seat design and runs on lithium-ion battery power, 10 degrees electric energy consumption per 100 km.

Great Wall Moto launched CoolBear on Chengdu yesterday

March 10th, Great Wall Moto launched its “Fashion Beyond, C-class Ready” car CoolBear on Chengdu, Sichuan province, priced between 60, 390 RMB and 70, 790RMB (1USD = 6.8USD). There are three colors, jewel-light black, astro-blue and star-light silver.

Breaking: Great Wall Moto successfully developed new pure electric car

Recently, Great Wall Moto has successfully developed a new double-seat pure electric car. According to reports, this new electric car could drives on an everage speed of 65 m/h, can travel 140 km on a single battery recharge, 10 minutes can accomplish charging 70%.  Moreover, its zero pollution, zero emissions and low operating cost.

GWM Hover CUV heads to Vietnam

According to Xinhua, Great Wall Motor recently saw its Hover CUV model rolling out of its assembly plant in Vietnam and going to the local market.

Located in Nam Dinh City, the plant is jointly established earlier this year by Vietnamese company Duc Phong and Great Wall Motor to produces Hover and Cowry (an MPV model of Great Wall) for sale in the local market.

Duc Phong takes charge of production and marketing of the joint venture while Great Wall Motor mainly provides technologies and auto parts. The plant has an annual capacity of 3,000 cars.

Duc Phong is the second assembly plant Great Wall Motor operates in Vietnam and it has 44 sales outlets around the country bordering southwestern China.

Since it stepped in Vietnam in 2005, Great Wall Motor has spent four years in market development and now holds a considerable market share there.

The Great Wall Motor Company is the first privately owned auto company of China listed on the Hong Kong stock market and has obtained HK$1.7 billion of financial investment. After more than 10 years of rapid growth, GWM has accumulated enormous economic capacity, becoming the number one taxpayer consecutively for three years in the City of Baoding. It is among “the Top 500 Enterprises of China in 2004″ and one of the best brands in national automobile industry. GWM took its first step to become a truly global company by exporting CUVs to the competitive European market in September 2006. GWM already sells cars in about 60 (mostly developing) countries and exports account for about a third of the company’s sales.

Recently, the Great Wall involved disclosed that the 3rd family car of Great Wall, CoolBear is ready to launch.
Currently Cool Bear has completed a variety of testing and plans to launch soon.
