This is the first time I have seen this, its a AM General Chassis. Yes, GM sold the HUMMER name. AM General sales tons of chassis around the world. Raise the Hood, Bonnet, Cowl what ever you call it. It will be the same as The US Chassis. The Body has some changes to it to make it look a little different from its US counterpart. In fact where I live at in the US, a company builds Up Armour HMMWVs. They do not look like H1s. The hood is about the only thing that lets you know its a HMMWV.

Beiqi did well to align itself with Hyundai as those China-made Hyundai models are doing well. Hyundai's quality is up all over the world, and so the JD Power folks should consider BAIC-Hyundai's Shunyi factory among candidates for "Best Assembly Plant" quality award.

Latest reports have Lifan denying an interest in a BAIC buyout.
But Beijing seems hot to trot, making overtures for the acquisition of Changfeng, Soueast and now Opel. Its current sales are great, thanks to its tie-up with Hyundai.
