Lotus to debut 5 new cars

Sources reported that Lotus to debut 5 new models on the coming Shanghai auto show, includes 2 new roadsters which listed on UK not long ago, a new MPV and a new hybrid car.

Sources also reported that Youngman Automobile will continue corporating with Lotus and will launch 6 new models in the coming years. Youngman Lotus will continue to produce own-brand models, prodcution lines including mini car, compact car, medium-sized MPV etc.

JAC A00 mini car to show off at Shanghai auto show

Recently, Chinese automaker JAC unveiled  its mini car JAC A00, from the sketch design,  we can hardly find any similarities with Citoren C1, as spy photos showed before. However, its huge headlights are more like Chery NN, while the taillights are similar with the unveiled JAV BMPV.

Sources reported that this JAC mini car will debut on the coming Shanghai auto show. Anyway, we are expected. One question, JAC A00, BYD F0 and Geely Panda, which one you preferred?

Chery is entering the 4-brand times

As the flagship of all Chinese automakers, Chery have passed its 11th year, and Chery cars had become the first choice of many Chinese people. But to our regret, Chery do not have any high-end brands before. Porsche Panamera to show off at Shanghai auto show

Sources reported that Porsche will unveil its latest model Panamera on the coming Shanghai Auto Show.

Porsche Panamera is a four-door, four-seat luxury sedan. It is front-engined and rear wheel drive, with four-wheel drive available on top versions. The new model is set to be on sale in China in the fourth quarter of the year.

Dongfeng Fengshen to show off at Shanghai auto show

Recently, Dongfeng Motor announced its own brand “Dongfeng Aeolus” (Dongfeng Fengshen) will show off on the coming Shanghai auto show this April. The first model is a 1.6L displacement compact car, 4.5 meters long and priced between 100,000RMB and 80, 000RMB (1USD= 6.8RMB). Dongfeng Fengshen was designed by the world famous car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and built by Dongfeng Technology Center & IDG(Italia).

Recently, BYD published its first MPV, BYD M6′s official photos, it indecated that BYD M6′s launch time is not for long.

Sketch design shots: JAC BMPV to launch on June

Sources from JAC principal, JAC will launch three new models in ’09, and today, we got the sketch designs of JAC MPV: Internal named JAV BMPV.

The JAC BMPV was exactly the exposed JAC B20, “B” stands for JAC’s B-class platform sedans, it might be based on the JAV B18 which first show on the 08′ Beijing Auto Show.

As a “customer friendly” MPV, JAC BMPV would probly priced between 70, 000 and 100, 000 RMB (1USD = 6.8RMB), and will launch in June by reports.

Shanghai Auto Show preview: Hyundai i30 to launch in China

No dulbt, Hyundai i30 had sucessful in Europe and  Australia, moreover, i30 will show off on the coming 09′ Shanghai Auto Show, the launch time might on the latter half of the year. Hyundai i30 equipes the 1.6L R serias engine for the first time, how it will be? Expected!
