Lifan Auto to launch SUV by the year end

Following by the Lifan 320 mini car, Lifan Auto is now shooting at the hottest SUV market for its future plan. As far as we know, Lifan will launch its first SUV model by the end of the year, the new SUV is little bit similar with the RAV4. From the appearance we can judge the SUV is implementing the design methodology of Lifan 320.

Besides, this new SUV will priced around 100, 000RMB by estimated(1USD = 6.8RMB) and sold on the second/third line cities of China.

Breaking: BAIC to aquire Lifan Auto?

Reported by Economic Observer, Beijing Automotive Industry Co(BAIC) is now preparing to buy Chongqing Lifan, an Automotive company located in south-west of China.

Lifan’s president said that Lifan Auto welcomes partnership negotiations with any automotive companies to retain Lifan’s own brand. The president didn’t reveal any details of the talk but said that Lifan Auto is always open for any acquisitions.

Chongqing Lifan to launch mini car at Shanghai Auto Show

Chongqing Lifan Auto has produced a MINI car (named Lifan 320) and will launch it at the coming Shanghai Auto Show. However, Lifan 320 is regarded  as  a 5-door version of BMW MINI Cooper, mixed with some trait of the black London Taxi.

Lifan Auto will debut 3 new models at the Shanghai auto show including the Lifan 620 CVT, Lifan 520 CVT and Lifan 320.
