Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer NIO Inc. announced that its October new car deliveries surpassed 40,000 units for the first time, marking a record-breaking milestone in the company’s history.
According to official data, NIO delivered 40,397 vehicles in October 2025, representing a 92.6% year-on-year increase.
Breaking down the numbers:
- NIO brand: 17,143 units delivered
- ONVO (Le Dao) brand: 17,342 units delivered
- Firefly brand: 5,912 units delivered
As of the end of October 2025, NIO’s cumulative deliveries reached 913,182 vehicles, including:
- NIO brand: 779,319 units
- ONVO brand: 107,621 units
- Firefly brand: 26,242 units
NIO ES6 Hits 300,000th Production Milestone
Also on November 1, NIO celebrated the rollout of its 300,000th ES6 SUV from the production line.
The current-generation NIO ES6 is available in a single configuration, priced at ¥338,000. Customers can also opt for the battery rental plan, reducing the vehicle cost to ¥230,000, with monthly battery subscription fees starting from ¥728 for the 75 kWh pack or ¥1,128 for the 100 kWh pack.
The ES6 features a mid-size SUV design with dimensions of 4854 mm (L) × 1995 mm (W) × 1703 mm (H) and a wheelbase of 2915 mm.
It is powered by dual motors — a 150 kW front asynchronous motor and a 210 kW rear permanent magnet synchronous motor — delivering a combined output of 360 kW and 700 Nm of torque.
Battery options include:
- 100 kWh ternary lithium battery, offering up to 650 km CLTC range
- 75 kWh battery, providing 510 km CLTC range
