Nissan N6 to Start Pre-Sale on November 13 – First PHEV Sedan Under the Tianyan Architecture

Nissan officially announced that its all-new mid-size sedan, the Nissan N6, will start pre-sales on November 13. The N6 marks a milestone as the first plug-in hybrid sedan (PHEV) developed under Dongfeng Nissan’s Tianyan architecture, representing the brand’s latest push toward intelligent electrification.

The N6 has already entered mass production at Dongfeng Nissan’s Guangzhou Huadu plant, with market launch scheduled within the fourth quarter of 2025.

In terms of design, the N6 inherits the minimalist and futuristic style of the Nissan N7. The “Star Ring” LED light strip connects both sides of the front fascia, paired with 7-shaped headlights and a closed grille, creating a clean, tech-oriented look. The car also features flush door handles, through-type taillights, and a ducktail rear spoiler, appealing to younger, design-conscious consumers.

According to official filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the N6 measures 4831 mm in length, 1885 mm in width, and 1491 mm in height, with a 2815 mm wheelbase.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (model NR15) produced by Dongfeng Motor Co., paired with a plug-in hybrid system. The powertrain includes a 21.1 kWh battery pack, delivering an estimated CLTC pure electric range of over 150 km.

With its balance of style, electric range, and advanced hybrid technology, the Nissan N6 aims to strengthen Nissan’s position in China’s rapidly expanding plug-in hybrid market.
