On October 29, Voyah officially released the interior images of its new flagship SUV — the Voyah Taishan, a large luxury SUV designed to mark the brand’s entry into the high-end market. With a target price around ¥500,000, the Taishan embodies the design philosophy of “Mountains and Seas in All Forms”, blending natural aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. Highlights include AI Cloud Comfort Seats, the latest HarmonyOS cabin voice model, and a 32-speaker panoramic sound system.
Design & Interior Features
The interior adopts a clean and balanced “Mountains and Seas” design language. The dashboard features straight, horizontal lines and a floating central display paired with a multifunction steering wheel, creating a refined and modern ambiance.

Voyah’s designers have infused the cabin with traditional Chinese aesthetics — mountain-and-water perforation patterns made from five different grades of perforated leather, with holes as small as 0.9 mm. These overlapping textures create a sense of depth reminiscent of distant mountains and flowing rivers. Complementing this design is 1.228 m² of natural wood trim, intricately inlaid in 11 areas throughout the cabin, exuding craftsmanship and sophistication.
The seats continue the oriental design theme, featuring an embroidered Voyah logo on the headrests for the first time. According to Lu Fang, CEO of Voyah, “Voyah not only builds great cars but also insists on originality — integrating Chinese aesthetic wisdom into our products to let the world see the romance and confidence of Chinese brands.”
The Taishan also debuts the latest HarmonyOS 5 voice model, representing a major leap in smart interaction. Unlike traditional systems that merely execute voice commands, this AI-powered model can understand user intent beyond literal meaning — transitioning from “hearing words” to “grasping implications,” enabling a more natural, human-like interaction experience.
Sound quality is another major highlight: the SUV features 32 speakers, including 8 integrated into the headrests and dedicated units for the third row, powered by a 2300W amplifier. The system uses carbon fiber diaphragms and custom-tuned channels (9.1.5.8 configuration) to ensure pure, evenly distributed acoustics for every passenger.
Exterior & Technology
Visually, the Voyah Taishan maintains the brand’s signature styling while emphasizing grandeur and presence. Its 5230 mm length, 3120 mm wheelbase, and 0.278 drag coefficient give it a commanding road presence.

The SUV will be equipped with Huawei’s latest ADS Ultra intelligent driving system, featuring four LiDAR units. It supports urban NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist) and full-scene automatic parking, enhancing driving confidence and convenience.
Design details such as two-tone body paint, semi-hidden door handles, and unique turbine-style wheels contribute to its premium aesthetic. At the rear, a full-width LED taillight connects seamlessly with the “VOYAH” lettering, while a trapezoidal license plate area and roof spoiler enhance its layered and sporty appearance.
Practical Features & Powertrain
The Taishan supports three levels of external power output, including a 220V outlet and 2.2 kW in-car power supply, making it ideal for camping, outdoor work, or mobile office scenarios.

Under the hood, the SUV adopts the Voyah “LanHai Smart Hybrid” system, combining a 1.5T engine with dual-motor AWD. The engine delivers 110 kW, paired with a 63 kWh ternary lithium battery supplied by CATL and SVOLT. Performance figures include:
- 370 km CLTC pure electric range
- 1400 km CLTC combined range
- 800V high-voltage architecture with 5C ultra-fast charging (20–80% in just 12 minutes)
Additionally, it introduces three-chamber air suspension, EDC adaptive damping (“magic carpet”), and 16° rear-wheel steering, further enhancing comfort and agility.
Market Position & Competitors
As a full-size luxury SUV, the Voyah Taishan will compete directly with models like the Zeekr 9X and AITO M9, both strong players in the ¥500,000 market. In this competitive segment, design, intelligence, and luxury experience are key differentiators.
By being the first model equipped with the new HarmonyOS 5 voice AI, combined with its refined craftsmanship and strong hybrid performance, the Taishan is well-positioned to attract buyers seeking both technological innovation and Chinese-style elegance.
Editor’s Take
As Voyah’s new flagship, the Taishan strikes a fine balance between technology, artistry, and practicality. It avoids overly aggressive styling in favor of a refined, family-oriented look — likely appealing to buyers considering models like the Li Auto L9 or AITO M9.
With Huawei’s ADS Ultra intelligent driving, HarmonyOS 5 cabin, and advanced suspension and rear-wheel steering, the Voyah Taishan delivers a compelling combination of comfort, intelligence, and luxury. It reflects the growing confidence of Chinese automakers in redefining the premium SUV experience — not by imitation, but by innovation rooted in cultural identity.
